As a matter of fact we have signed papers promising that a certain group will not be criticized. It's the only time we've been truly gagged. We had no choice either. That's all I can say.

This post from CLBinTX a few weeks ago is very interesting. It is responding to the new board at EBs World. It's almost like a gangsta rapper predicting his own death (see #2).

Depends upon how it's handled…..by everyone.

1. If EB's A.D.D. kicks in, then EB's World will not be long for the world. He'll move on to whatever catches his attention next..

2. If EB exercises too much control over editorial content, then EB's World will not be long for the world. Folks…especially these folks…don't like to be told what they can & can't joan on.

3. If EB sticks with it AND is chill about it, then ball is in Junks.tv's court.

Personally, I think there's room for more than one place to chat about the show & other common interests. Time will tell…

I remember reading that post. I thought it might be a little edgy for EB, but it seems innocent enough to me. EB was asking for people to be moderators. Does anyone know who they are? The topic where the guy was making fun of the way asians speak was deleted also.

I think that post might be over the line for EBs World, and I understand why. The guys said on the show recently that it's okay for us donks to jone on them for anything show related. But, only the inside circle can jone on family members or items that are of a personal nature (divorce, for example).

Hola all! Apologies for the lengthy delay. I was having trouble getting into this site & then I was traveling for work.

The point to the original post in this thread was I don't know what I said to incur the wrath of the powers that be @ EB's World. I never received a warning…an explanation….anything. I registered & was participating in my "normal" fashion…might have posted somewhere between 5-10 times. Then, I couldn't log in. Thought maybe I had forgotten my password but my user name wasn't recognized. Started scrolling through the site & noticed EVERY SINGLE ONE of my posts had been removed.

If I had to guess…I'd say he didn't like my comments in the eating on the air thread but that's speculation. I don't know that for a fact. The posts are gone but as I recall I said something to the effect that I thought eating on the air occasionally as schtick or a food plug was funny but more than that is not. I was taught that it was rude to talk with food in your mouth & that I'm guessing Mrs B. raised him (EB) the same way.

It was a "throw-away" on my part….49% annoyance that EB talks with food in his mouth on the regular, 51% joan on him. It's not that big a deal to me. I certainly don't see it being worth the reaction it apparently got. If my comment was interpreted as a joan on Mrs. B…it's an incorrect interpretation. I think she's great & love her on the show!

I had forgotten "calling my shot" over here as to my concerns on how it was going to be in EB's World. I suppose one of these days I'll get tired of being right most of the time. But not today….tff. It looks the whole, "What happened to CLBinTX?" thread was deleted. What a tight-ass!!! Thanks to B for asking the question out loud!

Let me be clear, though. I'm NOT advocating freedom of speech on privately-owned message boards. EB's World is his property & he can do what he wishes with it….absolutely! Would it be nice if I got an explanation as to why I got kicked off? Sure….but I'm not "owed" that either. His sandbox, his rules…even if he won't tell anybody what those rules are.

I'm simply thankful to Admin that there is a place where I can tell my side of the story & express my opinion. Thanks!

May I dare ask what the question was? Maybe we could all try to answer for EB, could be fun.

If EB's not kicking me off his site….puny is bombing on me….for bombing on Harold…who is putting down his keyboard & slowly backing out of the room. LOL…and that's just in the goofy little world of the Junks P1s!
