Does anyone else find JP's constant reminder that he "argued that the Nats would be #2 in this town" annoying? Every day he says it at least twice. Is he that starved for validation? Yes JP, one of your predictions are going to come true, nobody cares.

I know what you mean. He does that type of stuff alot, but in his defense…no one else on the show is going to point out that he was right about anything. JP has to toot his own horn , and has earned the right to. Welcome to the board, Donk!

Months later, still on stilts. He tries so hard to sell his flimsy points and hides behind these "articles" he finds. Look, I'm fine with him bringing them up, but the it's the way he argues and won't let it go that annoys me. I think it's that he fancies himself a journalist rather than a donk radio host and he's always trying to drum up conflict, especially with Bickel. Whatever, I'm just frustrated with his flaiming and wish he would tone it down a bit.

Definitely the loudest sound in the room is JP beating his own drum.

As annoying as JP can be, he knows how to push Bickel's buttons like nobody else…& winding up Bickel can make for some great radio!
Other times, I think he's simply trying to take the opposite side of an opinion to drive the discussion. When there really IS no other side of an issue, he comes off like an a-hole. They ALL put me on monkey stilts when they attempt to argue ridiculous extremes of an issue where the capital-T truth is most likely somewhere in the middle.
