First of all, no one is 'a Southie', that's like saying, he's 'a PG County'.

I'm from Southie, my family and friends are from Southie, a group of folks born in Southie are 'from Southie', there's no plural form, and there's no singular form as you keep using ie, 'a Southie'. The discussion on Mark Wahlberg was the final straw.

And for a guy who is the 'where they're from Nazi', why do you continually botch this one?

Wahlberg is from the Boston neighborhood of Dorchester, not Southie. So, he's from Boston, or to be specific, he's from Dot. Not Southie.

And the other 2 you keep getting wrong;

Ben Affleck was born in Berkeley, California, his family moved to Cambridge, not Boston, certainly not Southie. As a kid he met,

Matt Damon, in Cambridge, not Boston or Southie.

Get it right you you tall, gangly donk.

Again, for the guy who's so militant on getting where people are from 'right', you keep punting these 3.

I hate poseurs who attempt to gain street cred by allowing the world to think they're from a tough neighborhood when they're in fact pussies. Though Wahlberg's part of Dot wasn't a bed of roses.

"Now the shoe is on both foots" - random donk listener call.

All points well taken! Although, I don't think Wahlberg needs to claim Southie to establish his bona fides as a being from a tough neighborhood or, at least, a full-fledged punk. The attempted murder charges take care of that quite nicely, thank you. My guess is some film PR clown is responsible for circulating that whole "Mark from Southie" stuff. Everybody else ran with it instead of doing their homework.

But…whilst on the subject of the Lurch Papa….did anyone else think he was coming across just a bit TOO chipper on Friday?? A little morning nip, perhaps?? Laugh

Thank you for the geography lesson. FYI, I'm being serious and not a smart ass.

Mrs. Bickel tells the guys how big the burrito was that she ate. Lurch to Mrs. Bickel:"I got a burrito in my pants!" EB:"I just wouldn't say that to your mother." Lurch:"We say everything to her! You said shaved cat! I can't say it!" (Lurch laughing hilariously…) Lurch 10/5/11 seg 12 10:00 mark

After it's all said and done, the Boston/New England accent is the fourth worst in the country. I just wish they'd eliminate all A's and O's from their vocabulary.

Here is a comprehensive, an well studied list of America's worst accents:

1-California teeage girl

2-Southeasterner and some parts of Texas

3-New York/New Jersey

4-Boston/New England

5-Minnesota/Dakotas

6-Baltimore
