Thanks for the info.  After looking at Cocktail's Twitter feed it looks like others had the same issue that I did.  I was able to find and download each segment manually by doing an iTunes power search.  Hopefully my podcast subscription rights itself on Monday.

Vegas needs some Junkie love.  We need a P1 party or a JPO in VEGAS!!!!

Feeer, my brother. My itunes didn't give me the podcasts one day earlier in the week, and I checked Valdez' twitter feed and no one else was complaining. I have another itunes feed that is money, but it is the station feed and includes all the commercials. There is a lead-in of JT the Brick for a few minutes each day, and it includes the first hour of the Junks. It is a great backup if CBS fails us. DAR.fm – J@captainawesome.com is where it comes from on itunes. Check it out.

FYI: For iPhone users who get annoyed with the fact that iTunes on the phone is always slow to update….you may want to try the Downcast app. The feed through the app is updated in realtime so it's much less frustrating!

please note that these podcasts are real time recordings starting at 5am (classic and replay from 5-6) including commercials, so u have to navigate differently obviously than regular podcasts

Hey fellas, I have a question that I've asked Valdez, Drab and EB but haven't received a response. Probably should try asking Flaim a question about himself, and then shoehorn the question in.

 

Anyway, here's the issue. I download the podcasts on my iphone through itunes. I'm usually 2 or 3 days behind because I can't listen at work, but I don't miss a podcast. The podcasts typically sort by date, and then by segment. But since June 14th-ish, the download process has changed. The download process has changed some, but more importantly, the segments just sort by name, not by date. The dates aren't included anywhere on the podcasts.

 

Any ideas on what happened? Is there anything I can do on my end to handle this?

It's a site/service that will record radio shows that you can't listen to real time. I thought they did it automatically & archived them. But, it looks like you have to register & setup the shows you wish to record.

I've seen this too.  It made the podcasts all fucked up when combined with other properly labeled podcasts.  It's something on their end (Valdez and them).  It stinks, but I've been downloading in itunes and then syncing to my iphone instead of downloading directly to my iphone.  I'll try it in a couple weeks again to see if they have fixed their issue.

 

This is certainly happening – I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it.

Thanks buddy. I'm glad to finally get some affirmation that I'm not crazy. I tried tweeting at Valdeezy, Drab, and EB but didn't hear anything. I think this is a setting in iTunes which they changed (NPR did this with a bunch of their podcasts recently), so I don't think it will "fix itself".

 

Someone on here recommended using Downcast. I bought the app ($2) and it works great. Not quite as good as doing it the old way in iTunes, but oh well.

This issue has been going on far to long now.  Does anyone know if this issue is ever gonna be resolved or if valdez even knows about the problem?

My biggest problem is that I use te Ipod classic, and the podcasts upload backward. It's a pain in the balls, and I'm really sweating this one out.

Does anyone know how to get the podcasts the one guy posts from the start of the show at 5am? I want to download some of the Best of segments and Valdez doesn't include those with the show's podcasts. I've been looking for it on Itunes
