Same here and I would much rather the last hour of the show be missing than the first hour. This is the only show I listen to that has consistent problems recording and uploading their podcasts.

But it was consistent for a while, at least a year, before they moved in to the new studios. I'm sure with Bret leaving the podcast onus is now on someone other than Valdeezey. I think they'll work out the kinks soon enough.

Although I am rick, I do appreciate Valdez keeping us updated on Twitter, along with all of his new duties. Valdez, please don't let f-faces like this guy keep you from keeping us in the loop:

I agree with the theory that IronedOnCelticsGear (if I keep referring to him only by his handle here…perhaps he'll come on home! Laugh ) had finally gotten these down to a science when…. First, they moved. Then, second, they lost Bret. I'm Rick that they "lost" the first hour yesterday. I'm more Rick that, apparently, nobody bothered to check if they were rolling tape when they first hit the air. But, c'est la vie…that's just the way it is…sometimes.

I think I'm actually most Rick that the new software seems to have the annoying habit of cutting off a segment mid-sentence or even mid-word. That's been going on for a while now. If they could solve that one, I'd be ever so pleased!!

I don't get as bitter anymore because of Valdez. In the past if there was a problem you never knew when or if things would get posted. That was why I drunk dialed JP back in the day. Now, thanks to cocktail and twitter, I at least get a heads up. Whenever there's a problem it's usually because someone other than Matt is doing the podcasts.

I'm convinced McNubbin will never be on twitter.

Eh…he may not be alone. I have a twitter account…but I never use it! If there's a problem with the podcasts, I read Matt_Valdez to see what the deal was. About the only thing I EVER go there for! Laugh

I've actually been impressed with the podcasts lately. Given they have the cutoffs, and the "lost hour" every now and then but at least in the last two weeks they've been available on my iPhone at 3pm – makes for a sweet commute home. There for a while the podcasts wouldn't post until after 10pm.

Lost segments suck though; I missed the infamous BJ Raji segment Frown
