I don't think they'll do poorly enough to get Luck, Locker or Newton (assuming he comes out to run away from the scandal), so my vote goes for Ryan Mallett. He's in a pro-style offense and has the tools.

How about drafting another O-lineman so the current QB can operate successfully.

Newton is going to be a horrible pro QB. Something about Locker rubs me the wrong way, I never like a college QB that gets worse as he gets older. No chance at Luck. I wouldn't mind Mallett but I wouldn't spend more then a third on him and since we don't have a third…

Hopefully we're drafting somewhere in the teens because that is prime trade down area. They desperately need lineman, specifically OG and if they can trade back to the twenties and get Rodney Hudson and maybe another Guard in the 4th or so round if they can pick a 4th round pick up.

If this team drafts anything but OG, WR and NT in this draft there's a problem. Things like LB and FS can be gotten in free agency.

Unfortunately, the Skins can't afford to spend a high pick on a QB anytime soon. Just too many other needs after two decades of the worst player personnel & scouting in the HISTORY of the league. I started to say a decade…but, to be honest, it's sucked since Bobby Beathard decided he'd had his fill of Coach Gibbs & the Squire…

What they MAY be able to do, once they get some competent scouting back in place, is throw a 6th round pick at the position every other year or so in the hopes of catching lightening in a bottle…a la Tom Brady.
